This is one of the season's last Etsy-style markets before Christmas, but its selection is typically worth reserving a few bucks of your holiday budget. The array of items is quirky, which means you just might find the perfect thing for that special someone, especially if he or she likes geeky stuff, screen prints, hand-tooled leather, jewelry or fancy plants.

North Texas MADE's handmade holiday market will feature more than 70 indie makers selling their handcrafted goods such as jewelry, home goods, children’s items, unique clothing, accessories, bath and body products, original artwork, eco-friendly items and more. First 40 attendees will receive a complimentary swag bag filled with handmade items. The event will include photo ops with Santa from 1 to 3 p.m., photo booth and cash bar.

$3 in advance online, $5 at the door, free for children ages 12 and younger. Parking is $8 to $10.
