Sachse celebrates the holiday with a patriotic community parade, live entertainment, kids' activities, food vendors, bounce houses, contests and, of course, fireworks. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and bug spray for an old-fashioned family Fourth.
The parade steps off at 6 p.m. from the Sachse Library parking lot and ends at Heritage Park, site of the festival and fireworks.
