The West Coast relay of Carry The Load that began April 27 in Seattle ends its 4,300-mile journey with this Memorial March, which was created as a way to restore the meaning of Memorial Day and support veterans and military families. The 20-hour and 16-minute fundraising walk will be at Reverchon Park in Dallas, and you can join the walk at any time; there’ll also be bands performing onstage, a kids zone and food trucks on site.

The Memorial March and national relay Carry The Load is a two-day event that raises awareness and pays homage to our veterans and military families. The march begins at noon on Sunday and ends at 3 p.m. on Monday in observation of the National Moment of Remembrance. Participants can participate for 23 hours or for 20 minutes. During the march they will carry a load, which symbolizes carrying the fallen heroes we honor. Go online to sign up as an individual or as part of a team.
