Celebration of Asian culture includes a great variety of Asian foods, games, music and dance, with plenty of family friendly activities and prizes, including lion dances, a lantern parade, free gifts for children and more. The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, is celebrated by most Asian cultures and is often compared to Thanksgiving as celebrated in the U.S. because of its spirit of gratitude and abundant food. Presented by Asia Times Square, the event also includes participation by community businesses, civic organizations and local, state and federal officials. Events take place in the parking lot of Asia Times Square and admission is free.
