Is there anything Richard Rawlings can't do?
Fans are likely to find out when the Gas Monkey Garage founder and entrepreneur releases a book called Fast N' Loud: Blood, Sweat and Beers this spring.
According to the publisher, Rawlings "begins with his own story - how he went from flat broke to a seat at the table with some of history's most iconic car guys." Apparently he's even been shot at while defending one of his masterpieces from carjackers.
In a blog post Wednesday, Rawlings stopped short of calling the book a memoir.
"You've seen quite a bit of my crazy life play out on your TV screen on Monday nights' Fast N' Loud but it's the behind-the-scenes stuff and backstory that will make you shake your head and say 'Well, that explains a lot.' So I went and wrote a book about it!" he says.
Blood, Sweat and Beers comes out on May 12 and is currently available for pre-order viaAmazon, Barnes and Noble and Books-a-Million.
