"Old Town Road," the ear worm from rapper Lil Nas X and country dad Billy Ray Cyrus, is ruling the Billboard Hot 100 charts, sitting at No. 1 for the nineteenth week in a row. So it's good timing for the State Fair of Texas to announce that Cyrus — previously famous for his 1992 hit "Achy Breaky Heart" — will perform a free, live concert during the fair's 24-day run.
And yeah: We're going to need him to sing "Old Town Road."
Cyrus takes the stage Oct. 13 and is so far the most of-the-moment headliner the State Fair of Texas has announced.
