Golden Knights defenseman Nicolas Hague out for Game 2; Stars to use same lineup as Game 1

Hague left Game 1 early Monday with an unspecified injury.

Golden Knights coach Bruce Cassidy announced Wednesday afternoon that defenseman Nicolas Hague will not play Wednesday night in Game 2 of the first-round series between the Stars and Golden Knights and is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Hague was injured during the third period of Game 1 Monday and left the game shortly after Mason Marchment scored Dallas’ third goal of the night at the 11:46 mark of the third.

Hague is on Vegas’ third defensive pair and was replaced at morning skate Wednesday by Alec Martinez. Hague had two goals and 10 assists in 73 games this year and recorded one assist in last year’s playoff series against Dallas.
