Don’t quit your day job: DMN insider Evan Grant works a shift, talks Rangers at Rodeo Goat

Grant had a day of burgers and baseball and was visited by a special Texas Rangers guest as well.

On Wednesday Dallas Morning News Rangers insider Evan Grant spent a day of burgers and baseball at Rodeo Goat in the Design District where he “worked a shift” serving patrons (with menu items that included the Evan Grant burger), talked some baseball with Rangers fans and signed a couple print editions of his Texas Rangers world championship baseball coverage.

He also had a special visitor, none other than Rangers radio voice Eric Nadel.

Check out photos from the event below, where a portion of the proceeds went to World Central Kitchen, which brings food to disaster areas.
