Where are the Texas Rangers’ top prospects playing this season?

From Wyatt Langford and Evan Carter, to Sebastian Walcott and Jack Leiter, here’s where the Rangers’ top prospects will start their 2024 seasons.

If you haven’t already heard, the Texas Rangers’ No. 1 and No. 2 prospects — outfielders Evan Carter and Wyatt Langford — will open the regular season with the big league club. It’s kind of a big deal.

How about the rest of the organization’s top young talent?

The Rangers, according to Baseball America, boast the No. 3 farm system in baseball. That’s not too shabby for a team that just won the World Series. That means that while the vast majority of attention will remain on Texas’ chase for a repeat, there’s some names still worth following in the minor league levels. Some names — like Jack Leiter, Justin Foscue and Marc Church — that could contribute to Texas’ chase for a second trophy before this season is all said and done.
