Maroon 5 to play the Super Bowl halftime show with help from a notable Texas rapper

The football teams that will face off in Super Bowl LIII are still to be determined, but the halftime performers are now set.

Pop band Maroon 5 will do the honors with help from two hip-hop heavyweights, according to an announcement Sunday. Big Boi, the Atlanta rapper and one-half of legendary duo Outkast, and Travis Scott, the genre's buzziest hit-maker out of Houston, are also slated for the event.
