He's the self-proclaimed "Greatest Living Rock Star," but when he's not getting into baffling Twitter battles and napping in public, Kanye West also spends his time as a wildly successful fashion designer. So successful, in fact, that it is almost impossible to purchase his sold out Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers.
But a few lucky raffle winners will have a chance: Shoe Palace is offering the opportunity to win a chance to buy the shoes in a contest that ends at 7 p.m. CST on Feb. 24.
The $350 shoes, a collaboration with ADIDAS, originally went on sale last August, and they were up for grabs again on Feb. 19, but they sold out in fewer than two hours, CNBC reports. Second market retailers have offered the kicks at a premium -- Amazon currently features a listing, claimed to be 100 percent authentic, at $950-3,599 and eBay sellers have listed them in a variety of sizes, most costing over $1,000 a pop.
Notably, Shoe Palace's contest is not to win a pair or shoes, but simply the opportunity to buy a pair of men's Yeezy Boost 350 in Pirate Black in-store at one of 11 select locations. The majority of the stores are in California, with two in Texas: The Parks at Arlington and The Galleria in Houston. Winners will be notified via email at 2 p.m. CST on Feb. 25.
No purchase is necessary, and participants must be at least 18 years old to enter the raffle.
