It’s a little startling to saunter into a Deep Ellum bar and find Hungarian food — and pretty authentic Hungarian food, at that. Good starters include the lecsó, a fiercely spicy pepper-and-sausage stew; the charcuterie plate; and the deep-fried flatbread called lángos. The main dishes can be uneven, but be sure to have the spaetzle. The non-Magyar offerings are quite good — especially the hamburger and the charred octopus. Full bar featuring house cocktails and a long list of spirits and liqueurs, plus dozens of beers and a brief wine list. — Mark Vamos/Guide
