When Florida stone crab claws are in season (mid-October to mid-May), they’re a real event in this busy, spiffy, well-run dining room. The kitchen cooks Dungeness crab right, too; the restaurant keeps them live in tanks year-round. Such crabby pleasures are expensive, but they can be a real treat. Fin fish dishes, like halibut topped with crabmeat in a light-bodied chile sauce, dressed up with avocado, tomato and jalapeño, or blackened redfish Pontchartrain smothered with crawfish tails, shrimp and crabmeat in Creole sauce, are also nicely done.Leslie Brenner/Guide
