You can win a free year of Chick-fil-A when the Love Field location opens soon

Love Field is gearing up to love some chicken. A new drive-through Chick-fil-A (one you don't have to go into the airport for, in other words) is opening next week, on July 25, at 3040 West Mockingbird Lane.

A Chick-fil-A representative tells us this will be Dallas-Fort Worth's 100th location. That's quite a few places where you can go to get a chicken sandwich.

As the chicken chain's biggest fans surely expected, Chick-fil-A will celebrate the opening by giving 100 lucky people free chicken sandwich meals for a year (well, provided they're only eating one meal a week. It's 52 meals). The giveaway is only open for people living in certain zip codes close to Love Field (find those here).

The first 100 people who show up at the new restaurant between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24 (the day before this location officially opens) will be asked to camp out at the store for 24 hours -- so bring a tent and some things to keep you busy, as well as stuff to keep you cool, since this D-FW heat doesn't seem to be leaving us anytime soon. If more than 100 people show up by 6 a.m., everyone will be entered into a drawing to decide who the lucky 100 will be. You can find more official rules here.

Pro tip for this opening: Chick-fil-A warns that there is no parking available on-site for the campout, so you'll want to plan ahead on that front.
