Snuffer’s burger joint in Addison expected to open May 11

Some Plano residents are still mourning the loss of Snuffer's Restaurant & Bar, the cheese fries haven that closed up shop near W. Park Boulevard and Preston Road in early 2014. (Diners need only to travel to Southlake or Addison or Dallas or Rockwall to get their Snuffer's fix.)

And news today proves that two more Snuffer’s are on their way, though neither will be in Plano.

The restaurant in Addison on Midway Road will move to 4180 Belt Line Road, according to a press release. Taqueria La Ventana, a quickie taco shop with its first location on McKinney Avenue in Dallas, will share the space in Addison.

A second new Snuffer’s will go in at 132 E. Ovilla Road in Red Oak.

In a statement, CEO Mike Karns calls Snuffer’s burgers and cheese fries “irresistible.” Plenty of North Texans would likely agree.
