Reality TV is the real star of Great Xscape tour, coming to Verizon Theatre on Dec. 13

'The Great Xscape Tour' is more than just a reunion tour of an iconic R&B group.

The "Smooth R&B 105.7 Presents The Smooth Holiday Groove II featuring Xscape: The Great Xscape Tour" is at least five reality TV shows in one. It's bringing the drama straight out of your TV and onto the stage at Verizon Theatre on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Kandi Burruss, who has built a business empire since her days with Xscape,  stars on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The award-winning songwriter (Ed Sheeran's "The Shape of You") was at the center of the rumor that led to a scandal the likes of which the franchise has never seen that ended with the firing of another cast member, Phaedra Parks. RHOA is in the midst of its tenth season on Bravo. It airs Sundays at 7 and will have a marathon starting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.

Bravo also airs XScape Still Kickin' It, which features the entire group: Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Harris and sisters Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott. The show premiered the first week of November. There are lots of tears surrounding past hurts as the group negotiated among themselves to mount the tour that's selling out around the country.

LaTocha Scott also starred in R&B Divas: Atlanta.

You probably recognized "Tiny." She co-starred with her rap star husband T.I. in T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle on VH1 for six seasons. Fans can still watch episodes online. She was also in Tiny and Toya, which followed her friendship with Toya Johnson Carter, Lil Wayne's ex-wife. Because of her distinct fashion sense and her family matters, Harris always seems to stay in the news, along with acting and producing.

And it doesn't end there, with the supporting acts staying true to the theme.

Tamar Braxton stars in on Tamar & Vince, from whom she recently filed for divorce, on Thursdays at 7 p.m. also on We TV. It's a spinoff from Braxton Family Values, also on We TV; her sister, R&B legend Toni Braxton co-starred. Braxton was a founding co-host of daytime talker The Real for several seasons. (Note: Braxton told People magazine that Bluebird of Happiness will be her last studio album as she turns her attention to a talk show.)

Monica, who is also on the bill, reportedly turned down a chance to star in The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But she has appeared in many scripted shows, including Fox's Star.

And NeNe Leakes, who co-stars on RHOA, has served as concert host. She parlayed her time on the show into acting roles, such a star turn on Glee and The New Normal.

The tour stops Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Verizon Theatre, 1001 Performance Place, Grand Prairie. $35-$125. Doors at 6:30.
