Tyler cake shop owner Dylan Humphrey won the taste buds of Christmas Cookie Challenge judges on Monday night.

Humphrey won bragging rights and $10,000 for his rise to the challenges, including making an edible cookie box and decorated cookie toys.

Despite his triumph, Humphrey told KTRE.com that cookies aren't even his specialty.

It's cakes. He owns Kool Kakes by Dylan and had already competed in Cake Wars when he was approached to do the cookie show, which filmed this past summer.

Season 11 Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson, a former NFL player, hosts Christmas Cookie Challenge. "Pioneer Woman" Ree Drummond was a judge, along with Dan Langan of blog Baking With Dan and Next Food Network Star winner Aarti Sequeira.

The show will be in repeats throughout the holiday season, airing next on Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. on Food Network.
