"They didn't want me to do this," says Kameron Westcott, a new cast member on Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dallas. She was cautioned by her family members, who weren't sure how the Westcotts would be portrayed.
But Real Housewives on Bravo is Kameron's "favorite TV show on the entire planet. It's my guilty pleasure," she says.
She seemed ready to be herself on camera. "I was not going to let anybody push me to do something just to accommodate someone's behavior," she explained. And through the episodes on Season 2, Westcott has shown herself to be prim and proper compared to her castmates.
Take a look at Kameron Westcott's experience so far on 'Real Housewives of Dallas' as she chats with Amy Vanderoef:
What's it like to become an overnight reality TV star? "It actually all became natural over time," she says about filming the show. "... You forget the camera is there! Which is quite scary."
As Westcott mentioned early on the season of Real Housewives of Dallas, she has started a "premium dog food" company called SparkleDog. Part of the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen foundation, and her dog Lou -- named for Louis Vuitton, of course! -- is the face of the brand.
Interviewer Amy Vanderoef asked Westcott if she (and Lou) would make an appearance on another season of Real Housewives. Maybe:
"I can't wait to see if there will be a Season 3," Westcott says slyly.
