Infamous 'Bachelor' contestant from Texas flops during attempted burlesque dance in Vegas

Usually what happens in Vegas stays there, but when the whole Bachelor clan makes a trip to Sin City, viewers are lucky a camera crew is following them. Monday night's episode had its fair share of shenanigans, not least of which was a failed burlesque attempt by one of our Texas ladies.

But let's revel in the less ridiculous first, shall we?

Dallas gal JoJo Fletcher rose to the top of the crop Monday night. After snubbing her last week, bachelor Ben Higgins spoiled the real estate flipper during a solo date. And although it didn't start out perfectly -- turns out, the force from a helicopter landing will knock over your rooftop table and bottle of Champagne -- the couple's chemistry was undeniable.

After a romantic flight and make out session over the city, Fletcher and Higgins opened up to each other, which any Bachelor fan knows is the golden ticket to the next round. Fletcher divulged that in her last relationship (which ended a mere five months ago) she had not been her partner's only bae. Higgins tried to quell her trust issues and insecurities with compliments, a romantic fireworks show over the skyline and ultimately a rose.

"I cannot think of one thing I didn't like in JoJo," Higgins told the camera in an interview after the date.

While one Texan nailed her opportunity Monday night, the other flopped. The infamous Olivia Caridi began the episode 50 shades of confident. "I'm zen with Ben ... he's my man," she kept repeating. But when she was invited on a group date to perform in a talent show on ventriloquist Terry Fator's stage -- curve ball: as the show's opening act in front of a live audience! -- Caridi's brazen attitude quickly vanished.

Her plan: To pop out of a cake in a skimpy show girl outfit and tantalize the bachelor with a burlesque routine.

What actually happened: Insecurity got the best of her, leading to several minutes of awkward, cringe-worthy parading around the stage during which she did more to cover her body than flaunt it.

And of course, Twitter ripped her to pieces.

Unsurprisingly, her performance was followed by panic attack and meltdown that caused her to question everything about her existence on the show.

"I haven't been myself this week," she told Higgins one-on-one during the following cocktail party. "I don't know what planet I was on."

Fortunately for Caridi, Higgins felt more uncomfortable dating two identical twin sisters than watching her failed burlesque attempt. The bachelor took twins Emily and Haley, who are from Las Vegas, on a preemptive hometown date to meet their mom and stop seeing double. Haley got the boot ahead of the Monday night's rose ceremony.

Ultimately two other women were sent home, one of which was not Olivia, much to the chagrin of Twitter fans. She secured the final rose of the evening, while Bachelor vet Amber James and the unmemorable Rachel Tchen packed their bags.
