When we last left The Amazing Race, contestants wrapped up the CBS show's 26th season with host Phil Keoghan greeting the winners at the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas.
On Friday night, the premiere of the 27th season had a Texas twist. The Uptown-Cowtown duo of Josh Ahern and Tanner Kloven, calling themselves #TeamTexas, were big players in an episode titled A Little Too Much Beefcake, perhaps in reference to them.

Who finished first: #TeamTexas finishes first after a last-place start in a pontoon bike race in Venice. They also snagged the Fast Pass.
Who's out: #TeamTMZ took nearly four hours to finish a puzzle. When Keoghan left the pit stop and arrived with the bad news, Berning looked up from the puzzle and groaned, "Awww, he had to come see us." Keoghan gave them the bad news and the two skipped away, track shoes in hand, toward a beach bar.
Strangest scene: Lots of crying, but Justin from #TheGreenTeam was getting all Tonya Harding throughout the show. I counted four crying moments.
