Popular KERA call-in show Anything You Ever Wanted to Know will air its final episode on Dec. 14.

Host Jeff Whittington announced that he is leaving the show "to pursue travel and new opportunities," according to a story on KERA.org. That spells the end; he also serves as executive producer.

Whittington is a 22-year veteran of KERA. The station will replace Anything You Ever Wanted to Know with select radio specials during Friday's noon hour.

Whittington called it a "great honor" to work in North Texas radio and TV. He said, "working at KERA was one of my dreams."

The last episode of his show will broadcast on Friday, Dec. 14, at noon.
