Now, don't get all Halloween freaky on me if you're one of the wacky people out there who actually likes candy corn. There's good news for you: A survey of 40,000 people on a site called Influenster says candy corn is Texans' favorite Halloween treat.
Were 5 year olds surveyed? Are they allergic to chocolate or something?
In fact, candy corn was the top Halloween candy in Oregon, Wyoming, Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas. So thousands of you like candy corn. Hnh. Utah is smarter: People there like Nerds best. Alaska and Illinois, too: They went with Snickers.
The survey very well might be a ploy to reel people into Influenster, a website where users can rate, review and test products or read brand-name-dropping stories, like How to Make Oreo Spiders For Your Next Halloween Party. That must be it. Because candy corn wouldn't be crowned the best candy in the Lone Star State if this were a legit study, would it?
Anyway, Skittles are the best Halloween candy and it isn't even close and I don't want to argue about it so this conversation is over.
