Katy Perry says Dallas needs a 'come to Jesus' moment after seeing abandoned bikes around the city

Let's talk about the bike rental problem in Dallas. Again. Abandoned bikes are strewn all over the city; they can be seen laying on the sidewalks on Greenville Avenue, perched atop fences at cemeteries and even in a pond near Turtle Creek. Dallas visitor Katy Perry called it a problem during her recent concert at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

In fact, Perry said that Dallas needed to have a “come to Jesus” about the bicycles on the highway. She asked the audience what was going on with the abandoned bikes on the freeways and wondered why anyone would leave them there.

She didn’t stop there. Later in the evening Perry brought them up again, pondering why anyone would need more than one bicycle. She seemed sad about it, as though the stacks of bikes had tarnished her whimsical perspective of what riding a bike should be like.
