Julianne Hough, most recently of Dancing with the Stars judge fame, tied the knot with hockey pro Brooks Laich on July 8 in a picture-perfect wedding, by all accounts. DWTS pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Peta and Maks) also said their vows on the very same day in a similarly stunning ceremony. What we want to know: What does a first dance look like for DWTS pros?

The season two premiere debuts at 9 p.m. and promises two new cast members (no need to pretend to be surprised): socialites D'Andra Simmons and Kameron Westcott. Tune in for explosive moments in true Southern style.

Rob Lowe dined at Mesero in Inwood Village on July 12, but the reason and length of his visit remain unknown. What we do know: He ate Polla La Brasa, roasted chicken with vegetables, with Choco Flan for dessert and a La Doña Skinny Spicy Margarita. Chris Coats, who runs Mesero's public relations, said Lowe was "very gracious" and "all smiles" while taking pictures with the staff. Keep an eye out, you could be next to snag a selfie with the Code Black actor.

Ben Affleck finds love(?) post-Jennifer Garner

We were all sad when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner called it quits, ending Bennifer take two (just me?). But how could you not want that lovable face to be happy? He's recently started stepping out with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus, under intense media scrutiny. "Sources" say the two are in the early stages, but care for each other already.

Jay-Z will be coming to Dallas on his '4:44' tour this fall

Following the release of his new album in response to Beyonce's Lemonade, Jay-Z has announced tour dates, including Dallas, on Nov. 7. Don't sleep on these tickets: They'll go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on July 14 (as with his album, Tidal subscribers got early access).

The end is near: the seventh season of GoT premieres this Sunday night. The HBO hit has taken viewers on quite a journey and this season promises plenty more to come. The truncated season had some fans worried, but with some of this season's 10 episodes promised to last over an hour and fairly reliable rumors of feature-length episodes for all six episodes of season eight, there's still plenty of GoT in your future. If you (somehow) haven't watched the series yet, this weekend might be the right time to challenge yourself to a binge-fest before Sunday night's premiere.

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd announce engagement

Arlington darling Maren Morris announced her engagement to Ryan Hurd, a fellow singer-songwriter on the country scene.

The two started dating in 2015 after becoming friends in 2013 -- Hurd wrote "Love in a Bar" about Morris -- and he popped the question on July 3. The pair announced their upcoming nuptials via Instagram and Twitter posts on July 9. More good news: Morris will be performing at the State Fair on Sept. 29!

Queso comes to Chipotle, but only in New York (so far)

Queso-lovers (so, everyone), rejoice! Well, maybe. Chipotle has finally started selling queso in a test run at its New York test kitchen, but so far has not expanded to any other locations. California and Colorado may be next to sample the burrito chain's queso, so Dallas could still have a wait. Then again, do we even need Chipotle's queso with home-grown options like fan favorite Torchy's Tacos in town?

New singles out from D-FW stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato

On-again off-again BFFs Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato both released new singles this week. Gomez's single "Fetish" is unabashedly sexy, while Lovato's "Sorry Not Sorry" is more of a let-the-haters-hate anthem.

Bonus: Lovato kicked off an intimate (read: ultra-exclusive) house party tour to promote the single, and it will be stopping in Dallas this Saturday, July 15.
