For those who have read all seven Harry Potter books (or seen all eight movies), the full story of Professor Severus Snape is one of the more interesting elements of the entire saga. But while many details of his stories are trickled out throughout the many main plots, one YouTube user has recut all of his more important moments into one chronological story that lasts about 14 minutes.
If you wondered whether or not people still flock to Harry Potter content in droves, the video has earned nearly four million views since it was uploaded last month.
It’s not perfect. A lot of cuts are rough, the audio doesn’t always mesh well together (not the easiest thing to fix without the original footage, though) and I don’t think it would make much sense without the context you get from the books/movies. Still, for those that have seen the story as it’s already been told, this recut version is an emotional ride.
