Podcast: Pepsi, United, Sean Spicer and other Things 'From the Hip' Wishes Were Fake News 

So ... well, From the Hip has been playing around with what we're going to bring to the listeners. We landed on trying out some semi-regular segments. One of the ideas was "Things We Wish Were Fake News."

And this past week blessed (cursed) us with three that everyone, including us, wanted to talk about. So, fellow TDMN writer Jen Emily was game to join me at the mic.

As you may have guessed, we're talking about the Pepsi commercial, this outrageous mashup of politics, pop culture, resistance culture and shenanigans.

We're talking about United and its forced removal of an elderly passenger. Perhaps they think they're moving cattle, not people?

We're talking about White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, whose explanations of his statements about Syria, Hitler and the Holocaust made the actual statements even worse.

"Tone-deaf behavior" seemed to be an order from some higher, petty being. Take the seats they're obviously not using correctly and press play.
