Yolk is a “new spin on a diner,” says Taki Kastanis, founder/owner of the Chicago-based chain, falling somewhere between a Denny’s and a hotel breakfast. The 60-some item menu contains mostly egg dishes such as frittatas, omelets, benedicts, scramblers and egg sandwiches, though other breakfast items such as French toast and biscuits and gravy are options.
