Photos: Remember Bastille stands strong, tall in Arts District Friday night

With the terrible tragedy in Nice, France still resonating throughout the world, Dallas stood tall and strong to remember those lost and to celebrate perseverance as Bastille Day in the Bishop Arts District went on at the start of the weekend.

The festival, which took place over two days, included Bastille on Bishop on Thursday and Flora, a new addition which took place all day Friday. Patrons sipped drinks, shopped through the market, enjoyed acts from pantomimes and more as the day went on. The Circus Freaks, a group of traveling performers, also made an appearance.
