Photos: North Texas Firkin Fest serves up rare craft beer in a unique way

This weekend, the North Texas Firkin Fest served it up real good as rare craft beers from across the state made their way into the hands of Dallas-Fort Worth beer aficionados.

Produced by the Texas Craft Brewer's Guild, the second annual Firkin Fest was firkin phenomenal. With unique beers from all over, mainstays like those from Deep Ellum Brewing Co. and Rabbit Hole, and more, it was a day of drunken delight.

And the beer was served up in traditional casks, also known as firkins. Hence, Firkin Fest. Pretty cool, huh? Check out some photos of the fun below and be sure to catch the Firkin Fest on its next go-around.
