John Krasinski, Michael Bay meet at AT&T Stadium for free '13 Hours' premiere

AT&T Stadium played host to a movie premiere on Tuesday night as thousands of people packed the stands to see 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

About 30,000 free tickets were distributed for the event, which included a red carpet featuring appearances by the film's director, Michael Bay, and stars John Krasinski, James Badge Dale, Pablo Schreiber and more. Also in attendance were several of the American soldiers the film was based on.

13 Hours tells the story of six elite veterans who were assigned to protect the CIA in Libya and fought back an assault on a U.S diplomatic compound. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died in the September 2012 attack, which led to ongoing strife between Democrats and the GOP.
