North Texas forecast: More pleasant April days ahead before rainy weekend

The forecast from the NBC 5 Weather Experts

Tuesday will bring another pleasant day to North Texas. There will be a good deal of sunshine with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. It will be pretty breezy with a south wind gusting to near 30 mph.

More clouds and humidity will return by Wednesday and Thursday, but dry weather should last into Thursday evening. After that, storm chances will increase for late Thursday night into Friday and Saturday. Some severe storms will be possible during that time. It won’t rain the whole time, but make sure you stay up to date with the forecast.

The chance of storms could linger into Sunday, but the weekend does not look like a washout like what occurred last Saturday.
