A 36-year-old man died at a hospital Monday after he was shot in a Far East Dallas parking lot.
Officers responded shortly after 3 p.m. to the 2300 block of Highland Road, near Ferguson Road, and found a gunshot victim, police said.
The victim, identified by police as Erick Lopez, was taken to a hospital where he died.
Police said there is no suspect information available as of Tuesday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
