Willie Nelson is coming to Billy Bob's in Fort Worth for one night only

It'll be his 57th time on stage at the venue.

This just in: Willie Nelson is bound for Fort Worth on Nov. 15, where he'll take the stage at Billy Bob's Texas. The news comes as a happy follow-up to Willie's grim announcement last week that he'd be canceling all his remaining August shows in order to seek treatment for breathing issues.

It'll be Willie's 57th time on stage at the venerable venue. His first show at Billy Bob's went down on April 5, 1981, days after the venue opened its doors. He's also hosted several of his annual Fourth of July picnics on the premises.

Before he gets there in November, however, he's got quite a schedule on his hands. Next month, as part of his summer tour, Willie will hit several East Coast states, starting with New Hampshire on Sept. 6 for the Outlaw Music Festival. His show at Billy Bob's will be his first back in Texas after months spent crisscrossing the country.

Following his Billy Bob's concert, Willie has two more Texas shows on his schedule: one in Sugar Land on Nov. 18, the other in Galveston on Nov. 19. (And on Nov. 29, he'll be just across the state line, for a performance at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla.)

Expect a few tunes from his most recent album Ride Me Back Home to make it onto the set lists for some or all of the above appearances.
