All of George Strait's exes live in Texas, which is presumably why he can't stay away for long.

On Tuesday, the King of Country announced a concert date in Fort Worth. George Strait will play the Dickie's Arena on Nov. 22, 2019 with support from country cohorts Asleep at the Wheel. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 7 via Ticketmaster.

Not familiar with the venue? That's because it's brand new and expected to make its debut the same month Strait rides into town. According to the venue website, the arena is located on the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus and can seat up to 14,000 attendees. In a statement, Matt Homan, president and general manager of the venue, called this "our first concert announcement at Dickie's Arena," suggesting more are to come.

In addition to concerts, the Dickie's Arena is expected to host sporting events and familiy shows, including the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, which runs for a month each winter. (It's slated for Jan. 14-Feb. 9, 2019.) The $540 million project is a partnership between the city of Fort Worth and Event Facilities Fort Worth, a private group led by local billionaire Ed Bass, reports the Star-Telegram.

George Strait returns to North Texas after a dramatic run of goodbye shows at Arlington's AT&T Stadium in 2014, which welcomed a record breaking 104,793 fans. The singer's retirement didn't last long, however. In 2016, he began a residency in Las Vegas and is expected to return to the stage there in early 2019.

Tickets to Strait's November 2019 concert are said to be available for as little as $19.82 in commemoration of his 1982 show at legendary honky tonk Billy Bob's Texas.
