About three months after she entered rehab following an apparent overdose, Dallas-raised singer Demi Lovato was spotted out and about in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the former Disney Channel star went to Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills with fashion designer Henry Levy. People magazine confirmed Lovato is out of rehab, citing a source close to the 26-year-old, who celebrated a birthday on Aug. 20.
"She just got back to L.A. a couple days ago," the source told People. "She seems to be doing well so far."
TMZ reports that Lovato and Levy attended an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting together Sunday.
During an interview on satellite radio, Lovato's mother, Dianna De La Garza, also reportedly said the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer had been sober for 90 days.
In late July, Lovato was admitted to a hospital after an apparent overdose. She had been sober for six years after battling alcohol and drug addiction, as well as bulimia following her very public rise to stardom on TV shows Barney and Friends and Camp Rock and as a musician. In the weeks prior to the overdose, she released a new song called "Sober," the lyrics for which seemed to allude to relapse.
Lovato, who co-owns the rehabilitation and treatment facility that first helped her recover in 2011, thanked fans for their support in an Aug. 5 Instagram post, stating addition is something "I must continue to overcome and have not done yet." The singer has not posted to social media since.
