Kelly Clarkson lends her voice to a classic rock song in the trailer for a new TV show.

The Burleson native sings "American Woman" for the show of the same title. American Woman (the show, not the song) will premiere June 7 on Paramount Network.

Clarkson is a familiar voice to go with some familiar names: Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Mena Suvari (American Beauty) and Jennifer Bartels (Broken) star as three friends navigating 1970s Los Angeles and learning about independence along the way.

The show is inspired by the life of Kyle Richards of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Silverstone takes the lead here; she plays Bonnie, who makes her own path with two children after leaving her philandering husband. James Tupper (Big Little Lies) also stars.
