Justin Timberlake announces third Dallas concert after controversial Super Bowl halftime show

Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back to Dallas three times on his next tour.

In addition to two previously announced concert dates this spring, on May 27-28, the singer just scheduled an encore performance for Jan. 24, 2019. All three shows come to the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

News of the extended run of The Man in the Woods tour comes the day after Timberlake's highly anticipated return to Super Bowl halftime, which was controversial for a number of reasons. In the wake of 2004's performance with Janet Jackson (you remember Nipplegate, right?), fans were irked that Timberlake was invited back to the Super Bowl but Janet was not. #JanetJacksonAppreciationDay was trending on Twitter Sunday.

After halftime, during which Timberlake showcased many of his popular tunes including "Mirrors," "Sexy Back" and the inescapable "Can't Stop the Feeling," Twitter was ablaze with criticism over the Prince cameo.

Timberlake sang "I Would Die 4 U" as a duet of sorts with Prince's image on a sheet hanging from the top of the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis -- something fans pointed out the late singer specifically would not have wanted.
