Portland born and bred rapper Aminé had the stealth record of the summer last year with his single "Caroline." The music video got more than 160 million views on YouTube, and the single went double platinum and earned the MC a performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. (That performance also led to a writeup in The New Yorker after he improvised an anti-Trump verse.)
Now, Aminé is buzzing again with "Heebiejeebies," his latest single. The track features songstress Kehlani trading audio jabs with Aminé over a beat that sounds like it's gospel music made in outerspace. So, in other words, all the makings of another quirky summer hit.
