It's been more than two years since Katy Perry's last tour, which coincided with a Super Bowl halftime performance and upstaging from Left Shark. But the international superstar is headed back on the road again this fall.

Monday, Perry announced her Witness tour, but Dallas-Fort Worth will have to wait until next year to get a piece of the action. Though the tour kicks off in September, Perry's Dallas date at American Airlines Center isn't until Jan. 14, 2018. Lucky for fans, her new album, Witness, will be out on June 9.

Witness is Perry's fifth studio album and, if the singles are any indication, it features an array of unexpected collaborators. "Chained to the Rhythm," the first track to be released, has a cameo from Bob Marley's grandson Skip Marley and the most recent, "Bon Appétit," features so-hot-right-now rap trio Migos.

Tickets to Katy Perry's Witness tour go on sale Monday, May 22 at 10 a.m. via the singer's official website.

Fans with a Ticketmaster account can also register for pre-sale tickets on Thursday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to noon. Citi credit card holders can gain access to pre-sale tickets from Thursday, May 12 at noon through Saturday, May 20.
