Tripping Daisy's first reunion show in Dallas will no longer be that anticipated Homegrown Festival show on May 13 at Main Street Garden. The band -- which split up 18 years ago -- will now play one show before that, on Thursday, May 11 at Club Dada.

The tickets call it an "Exclusive VIP Warm Up Sneak Peak." We call it a pretty big deal. The $50 tickets will likely go fast.

They're "warming up for Homegrown Fest" by playing Club Dada, the spot where Tripping Daisy played its first show, in 1990. Pearl Earl opens.

Tripping Daisy is one of D-FW's most popular bands, our music critic Kelly Dearmore says in a great story about the band's reunion. Frontman Tim DeLaughter can't be sure what the reunion shows mean yet. 

"Until I figure anything else out, I just hope people enjoy the songs and have a good time, because that's really the point," he told Dearmore.
