Fans go wild on social media after Liam from One Direction announces solo career

Is One Direction over? It was the question on all of our minds as news of Liam Payne starting his own solo career began to spread. Someone sent me a photo of them legitimately crying in response to Liam "leaving" the "beloved" group. Let's see what the rest of the world thinks of this potential tragedy.

Tip: Maybe don't put on mascara  or eyeliner today.

Well these people already have no hope, or maybe she's a pessimist. 

Others are fairly excited, but that's probably due to the exponential increase of music produced by the five now that they're splitting up.

I'm 99 percent sure that response is not from the Hillary Clinton, but "you will flop" is probably one of the most concise responses on Twitter. 

I feel like this would constitute treachery and likely torch any hopes of the group reforming. 

Even Liam's fam is happy for him, but that's probably their job. 

This is a fairly accurate response to the situation, but for real, people probably saw this on their phones, not a desktop. 

The internet is like talking to a genie. It takes what you "asked for," and twists it into something that makes you cry. 

Every time a #SomeMusicianIsOverParty pops up it makes me wonder, who would actually celebrate the end of someone's career?

Ahh, the conspiracy theories. What if they were planning this all along? 

We all have to accept reality sooner or later.
