Festival news: Austin's Ghostland Observatory tops diverse bill in May for Dallas' 7th Homegrown

After moving indoors last year under threat of weather, the annual Homegrown Festival's seventh edition will be back in its old home, Main Street Garden. And now we know which acts fans will be taking in at the local- and Texas-centric festival.

The headliner for the May 14 slate? The rejuvenated Austin indie-dance duo Ghostland Observatory, which has proven plenty of times in the past that it can get huge crowds moving and sweating. Other high points of the Homegrown lineup announced early this morning include the Denton-affiliated Neon Indian, former Centro-matic frontman Will Johnson, acclaimed Little D songstress Kaela Sinclair and thought-provoking Dallas rapper Bobby Sessions. The full list of acts headed to Main Street Garden:

That's not the only Main Street Garden music event coming from the Homegrown organizers, either. Just a month prior on April 16, the Old 97s County Fair will take over that space, putting Rhett Miller, his bandmates and several other Americana-friendly acts in front of a beer-swillin' crowd.
