Weezer will drop ‘White Album’ in April and return to Dallas in July to play Gexa with Panic! at the Disco

Weezer fans still in the afterglow of last year's big Reunion festival performance downtown won't have to wait very long for their favorite band to be back in our midst. Rivers Cuomo and company announced today that 2016 will bring a flurry of activity their way, from a brand-new self-titled album in April (dubbed "The White Album" to put another chapter in the color series) to a gigantic arena tour with Panic! at the Disco.

Weezer and Panic (which just released its own pop-drenched new LP Death of a Bachelor today, not so coincidentally) will roll into Gexa Energy Pavilion on July 15, bringing special guest Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. January 22 (next Friday).

Weezer's 10th album will come out April 1 and features two already released tunes, "Do You Wanna Get High?" and "Thank God For Girls." Today also marked the debut of another new one from the record, "King of the World."
