Watch: St. Vincent goes to Marfa for mini-documentary ode to Texas, 'Lone Star'

St. Vincent, aka Dallas' home-grown rock star Annie Clark, returned to her Texas roots for an artsy mini-documentary that was released over the weekend on the luxury lifestyle site Nowness.

During the short film directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz, Clark talks about Texas and about her own creative energy. The mini-doc also follows her on a trip to Marfa where, among other things, she sings the Star-Spangled Banner at a kids' baseball game. "Texas is just home," she says.  She also walks through a field naked, so there's that. ("No one around so I take off my clothes...")
