Janet Jackson has been dancing from stage to stage across North America, but until Monday, she had no plans to come to Dallas.

So now it's official: Janet Jackson's Unbreakable World Tour will hit the American Airlines Center in downtown on January 24, 2016.

The pop diva announced an additional 27-city run that kicks off in Portland in mid-January and includes stops in Sacramento, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Detroit, among others; literally every corner of the U.S. This due to "overwhelming response" from fans about the tour, says a press release. The first leg of her tour concludes in Honolulu in mid-November.

By the time the Unbreakable World Tour is back on the road, Jackson will have a shiny new album out. And though it doesn't yet have a name, there is a single called "No Sleeep." Since its release, "No Sleeep" has cracked the top 10 on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart.

Our music critic Hunter Hauk says it's breath of fresh air compared to other pop divas' thirsty comeback attempts. I have to agree, the song certainly has a retro Janet Jackson vibe to it.

Additionally, Jackson was recently the recipient of BET's inaugural Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award for her groundbreaking approach to blending music, dance and visuals in her art. And for that, she earned a star-studded tribute number during the award show.

Tickets for Janet Jackson's Unbreakable World Tour go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 20 at 10 a.m. via LiveNation.com. But American Express card holders can gain access to pre-sale tickets July 14-19. You can also pre-order a copy of the new album for access to pre-sale tickets.
