Must watch: In 4 minutes, Quentin Moore shines light on 15 D-FW R&B artists

Dallas soul artist Quentin Moore literally sings his praises for the local R&B scene in his latest video.

"The Dallas Soul/R&B Scene in 4 Minutes" finds the musician and former University of North Texas football player covering himself and fourteen of his fellow talented North Texans in a four-minute medley.

The results are surprisingly smooth. Kudos to Moore for piecing together parts of songs by Erykah Badu, Leon Bridges, Larry Gee, Carmen Rodgers and others so seamlessly.  Moore told us in sending along the video that he was inspired to do the medley because he felt there were misconceptions about the R&B landscape in D-FW.

"I don't believe that soul/R&B in Dallas gets its credit," Moore said. "This track is my protest, because many of us promote and pack local venues, tour the world and have great music."
