Getting a Parquet Courts tattoo? The band wants to see proof via email. But they don't really want you to do it because they don't care. There's a lot of not-caring with this band.(parquetcourts.wordpress.com)

The band is made up of "stoned Texas nerds," Rolling Stone says, who stumbled upon fame a few years ago with their much talked about album Light Up Gold.

So is it likely that anyone would get a Parquet Courts tattoo, considering the former Texas band cares nothing about being everyone's favorite indie band? Yes, it's incredibly likely. It would just be super sad if the band broke up anytime soon.

The free tickets are Parquet Courts' small gesture to "shelter your fragile soul from the sting of deep, venomous regret," the band writes on their website.
