'Wrinkle in Time' and 'Selma' director Ava Duvernay is coming to Dallas

She'll be the guest of honor at the Dallas Women's Foundation luncheon.

Ava DuVernay, the filmmaker behind Selma and A Wrinkle in Time, is heading to Dallas.  She'll be the guest of honor at the Dallas Women's Foundation luncheon Oct. 30 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Broadcast veteran Michele Norris will moderate the discussion. DuVernay, an Oscar nominee for her documentary feature 13th, is the first African-American female director to direct a $100 million budget feature film.
