Gnarly! 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' surfs into D-FW movie theaters for two days only

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) cut close to the bone of high school social anxiety and still managed to party up.

Hey Bud. The bluntest, most honest teen sex comedy ever is heading back to theaters for a two-night stand. Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) cut close to the bone of high school social anxiety and still managed to party up. The cast, led by Sean Penn as the stoner Spicoli, features a roster of up-and-coming stars, including Jennifer Jason Leigh, Forest Whitaker, Judge Reinhold, and, most memorably for teenage boys the world over, Phoebe Cates. No movie has more fun without skimping on the basic truth that being a teenager sucks.

Fast Times plays at three local theaters July 30 and Aug. 2; for more information and  tickets visit fathomevents.com.  Please wear a shirt.
