Watch a 'Star Trek' marathon in two theaters in North Texas on July 20

Superfans can see Star Trek Beyond before it opens as part of a Star Trek Marathon (PG-13, 379 mins.) at select theaters on July 20.

Beyond will officially open in theaters on July 22. But it'll hardly be hardship to sit through J.J. Abrams' Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness to get to the payoff from director Justin Lin (Fast and Furious franchise). Two theaters in North Texas will participate in the event put on by Paramount Pictures, Skydance and Bad Robot: AMC Northpark 15 in Imax, 8687 N. Central Expressway inside Northpark Mall, Dallas; and Cinemark West Plano in XD, 3800 Dallas Parkway, Plano.

Tickets are $25. Buy them at the participating theater box office or online for the screenings that begin at 4:30 p.m. Cinemark and Paramount are offering a free digital copy of Star Trek if you purchase tickets online.
